What is autism

Autism is a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by great difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concept. This autism affects among many children. Autism estimated affect 1 of 59 children. This autism child is very lazy to communicate others and they won’t make relationship with others. Mainly a combination of environment and genetic factors influenced in developing autism. Autism sign appear often in age 2 or 3 but many parents and family members are not identifying this as autism. Every autism child has different sign but common signs of autism are below
Common sign of autism children
• Loss of previously acquired speech or social skills
• Avoidance of eye contact
• Difficulty understanding other people’s feelings
• Delayed language development
• Resistance to minor changes in routine or surroundings
• Repetitive behaviors (flapping, rocking, spinning)
• Restricted interests
• Making unusual activities and sounds
• Intense reactions to sounds, smells, tastes, lights or colors

Autism affect four times more than boys to girls. Now autism is said that increasing but there is no any medical factor to diagnose autism. There are many reasons in causing autism elder aged father mother increased the chance of autism child, when a pregnant lady is exposed certain drugs and chemicals, her child mostly be an autistic child. But exactly why autism happens is not clear research suggest that it may arise from abnormalities in parts of brain that interpret sensory input and process language.

Important of changing autism stage

Autism is an un ordinary stage of brain activities. If we did not know the important of changing this stage the effect of autism will continue life long and it will spoil children’s life and their families to. Identifying the autism in pre-age of children will help to reduce the effect of autism. If you want to change the autism you want to start it before children enter pre - school, it will reduce the difficulty in changing autism stage. Children affected by autism have difficult in making relationship with others. First, we want to change this condition and improve their relationship. We want to make more opportunity to them to make relationship with others.
In changing autism, we want to understand normal growth of children. Language is a basic level in a growth of a children. If a child is willing to do a work it will try to connect and share the work to others to finish it. Mostly this process took place between mother to child or between shame aged group. For this process children will use language or any other expression to connect others but an autism child not like a normal child. An autism child is insufficient to connect others that child can’t use language or any expression to connect others. The autism children are mostly like to be alone they create their own word and be alone. Being alone will increase the effect of autism this will spoil the children life and the children’s families too. So, it’s very important to change the autism stage.

If we did not understand the important of changing autism will spoil the whole life of children. It is very difficult to change this autism stage but it’s very important to change it by changing this condition we can improve their skills and we can bring them in to social relationship in basic relationship must start in families and then it wants to expand to society this social relationship will improve the skills of autism children.

How to improve autism children’s skills?

It’s very hard to improve the autistic children’s skills because they are more different than normal children, they will not support for us to explore their talent. These children mostly like to be alone so they reject our help and they will not join with us but researchers mention some common steps to improve autism children’s skills. Below are some steps of them.

Common steps of improving autism children

 • We want to spend some time with these children specially parents or family members must spend most of the time with these children. Mostly we want to spend twenty or thirty minutes in a day with autism children
• We want to join these children in our day to day activities
• Don’t leave these children to be alone join them and share our work with them or we want to follow the work that children do
• Mostly autism children like to be alone if you try to be closer to them, they will cry or they will get angry but you want to try to be closer to them these children will use to join you after some time
• While speaking with autism children we want to use some easy instruction that can understand by them
• We want to make direct eye contact with these children

If we follow the above instruction, it will easy to improve the skills of these children but above steps will not bring easily among these autism children it’s very hard to handle these children. For this purpose, researchers have found some training activities to improve the skills of these children. The autism children can be brought back as normal by following this training activities. Some of that training activities are given below.


 Some training activities for autism children

• Keep a small moving object or sounding object on your eye level and make it move or sound do this activity until that child see your eye. This will improve the child eye contact
• Before giving anything to your child bring it to your eye level and ask the child to take it
• Make some dried foam bubbles in front of the child until that child look at your face and then stop it if he fails to see your face
• Cover your face with a cloth and by suddenly removing the closed cloth make the child to surprise by doing this the child will automatically connect to your eye contact.
• Keep some glossy stuff on your fore head and make to see it by the children
• Keep some playing goods in a place where children can’t easily take and make the children to ask help from you to get that goods
• Train your child to finger something and show the child how to finger something
• Show two types of foods in front of the child and then leave him to choose on of them for an example keep a cake piece and a ice cream in front of the child and leave him to take one but stop the child when he try to take those two things
• While you are playing with an autism child you want to bring your eye down to the child eye contact level and make the child to play with you.
• Talk anything with autism children it will help them to leave from loneliness.
• Make the child to wait until his turn in playing and don’t leave them to be alone in their world always join the child in any activities.
• Give some food that mostly liked by children for an example biscuit, snacks. Give this food while the child looking at your when we do this again and again that child will automatically be trained to look at your face.


• Tap the table with a spoon and then give a spoon to children’s hand then make the child to tap the table like you
• If autism children make any noise then you should follow the noise and make the noise again and again then the child will follow your noise and then child will reply to it.
• Touch the body parts like nose, head and name it like “I am touching your nose”, I am touching your head” by doing this the child will identify his body parts and this will help to improve condition the children who don’t like to touch them.

These are some activities of training process like this there more and more activities for autism children. The above activities are very helpful to change the bad condition of the autism children. By doing this activity we can improve the ability of watching, hearing, speaking skills of the autism children.
